Marketing Plan B Insurance
A contingency plan is your insurance against the unexpected.
The following are a few examples.
- Back up all marketing material including notes, sources, and final copy
- Involve others in your marketing project who can pick up the ball and run with it
- If you work alone, develop a network of colleagues who can help in a crisis
- Have alternative medium forms of material (flash drive, paper, online back-ups)
- Confirm dates in writing and obtain confirmations so all are on the same page
You can overcome unexpected bumps in the road by always having a marketing Plan B contingency. The final results could surprise you.
