LinkedIn Beta Needs Bit More Work

by | Mar 28, 2012

The LinkedIn blog introduced a new beta program updating its People You May Know feature.

Here is a quick video and my take on the beta program.

Who Are These People?

  • Have you looked at the beta program?
  • Are your recommended connections more accurate and relevant?

Oh lordy Cathy… do I have to learn this one? sigh. I’m feeling overwhelmed with social media, linkedin groups, etc. etc. Glad you’re watching for me.

It’s nothing difficult, Anne. It’s just a different way of them making recommendations of people you might want to connect to on LinkedIn. At least for my profile, I didn’t find it helpful. I scrolled through their recommendations and send an invitation to connect on only one.

I’ll let you know if they improve the process, Anne. 🙂

Cathy- great use of video and keeping us informed. I believe Linkedin is a great conduit for freelancers and anything they can do to improve the expierence is a bonus.

Hi Wade: I agree that LinkedIn is a great tool. I have been a fan from the start. With some tweaking this feature should improve.

    Thanks for commenting, Wade.
