It may not offer as huge a change as 3.1, but WordPress 3.2 (the latest version for this blogging platform) received some cosmetic surgery.
The video highlights a few of the changes to:
- The dashboard sidebar menu
- The admin screen for creating posts
- A new default theme

Have you upgraded yet?
What do you think? Just another pretty face?

Hi Cathy, I upgraded and so far so good. I use the Thesis Theme so the WP Theme is barely of interest.
I don’t like the full screen mode – want all those editing buttons where I can see them. Suspect others will like it and it’s nice to have options.
Was a bit startled by the new look, but so far so good.
You’ve got such a great voice!

Hi Anne: I’m not sure if I am going to like the “no distraction” writing screen. I kind of like doing my headings and other formatting as I go along. But, hey, another new toy.
Thanks for the kudos on my voice-1st time I ever heard that! LOL! 😀
P.S. I have Thesis on my personal blog and had to upgrade to a new version. Before I did, the formatting was pretty wonky (technical term). 😉
Thanks for stopping by, Anne!
I think we will hold off for a while. As you stated it looks more of a cosmetic upgrade than functional changes or security issue fixes.
Danny: They did say there were 400 changes. I would imagine some are security-related. You can read the WordPress release about it to find out more.
Thanks for stopping by.
