Standing out in a sea of writers is no small task. It’s almost as challenging as distinguishing yourself with a name like Cathy Miller. But I like it simple. Whether it’s my name or the communications I write, I do believe simple is better. That’s what I bring to business writing - Keep it simple, clear & uniquely yours.
I have been writing professionally for over 30 years. Variety seems to be the key to my experience. I simply love to learn new things and share the knowledge. I love ghostwriting, creating white papers, case studies and all forms of business writing.
What is my background? Well, that all depends on what period of my career you want to look at. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Health/Life Agent sales license in Idaho, California and Arizona. That’s my practical side.
I worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist (yes, cleaning teeth), worked for insurance companies, consulting and brokerage firms and a Head Start program applying for grants. I have over 30 years of experience in the health care industry but never limited my writing to that alone. It’s that craving for variety. My life’s mantra is that everything happens for a reason. I believe it takes much more energy to be negative in life than it does to wear a smile.
