Those of you have visited my site know my theme is Keep it simple, clear & uniquely yours.
I constantly look for ways of getting my message out.
I decided to join the Ultimate Blog Challenge to help me focus on my message.
The Challenge
This blog challenge is like others – write a post for 30 days – each and every day. Here are a few reasons why I signed up:
Accountability
I am part structure, part free spirit. Both characteristics serve me well, but, I felt I needed some accountability to stick to a task.
It’s not like the creators of the Ultimate Blog Challenge are going to publicly chastise me if i don’t post every day or stray from my Keep it simple, clear & uniquely yours theme – at least I don’t think so.
I just thought I could play on the “structure” side of my personality.
Promotion
Of course, I am hoping promotion of my blog brings more visitors.
I hope more people come to my site and share their ideas and think of me when they need (or have others who need) a professional business writer.
Increase Knowledge Base
I love to learn new things. One of the things I like about the social media world is the ease in which we can do just that.
I hope through this challenge to meet more people and share our knowledge.
My Theme
I believe in simple, clear writing that still keeps the flavor of what makes each of us unique.
I love to take the complex and make it simple. Maybe it’s a frustrated teacher in me. I’m not sure.
So, over the next 30 days, I hope to share a bit about myself, make things simple for you, and share other sites that do the same.
I would love to hear from you. Let me know if there are topics, products or services that you wish were simple.
Share the sites you like that keep it simple, clear & uniquely theirs.
Let the challenge begin.

Accountability, as you mention, is an interesting part of this blog challenge. If we can develop self-accountability during a blog challenge, then that is a great accomplishment. But it will also be fun to meet new people and make new friends. I like to think that my site (EmpoweredSpiritCoaching.com) has simple design. As a designer, it’s tempting to do something fancy, but simple is always better.

Thanks, Jen-it’s going to be a challenge to blog every day. I appreciate the support!
Hi Jeannette:
Sorry about the delay in responding to your comment. It was dumped in my spam folder. Thank goodness one of the #blogboost tweets said to check spam folders. I, too, hope to meet new people. That is always a positive result. Thanks for stopping by and continued success!
